Cookie Policy

Last updated: 13 June 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how kojo uses cookies and similar technologies when you use the Service. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to keep you signed in, and to remember your preferences. Similar technologies such as local storage perform comparable functions.

2. Cookies we use

kojo keeps its use of cookies to a minimum. The cookies we set are strictly necessary to provide the Service:

  • Authentication and session cookies — set by our authentication provider (Supabase) to sign you in, keep your session active, and securely identify you as you move between pages.
  • Security cookies — used to protect your account and detect abuse, such as preventing fraudulent log-in attempts.
  • Preference storage — local storage we may use to remember basic settings, such as keeping you on the page you were last viewing.

These cookies are essential — the Service cannot function correctly without them — so they do not require consent under applicable law.

3. Cookies we do not use

We do not currently use advertising cookies, and we do not sell your data to advertisers. If we introduce non-essential cookies in future (for example, optional analytics), we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent before setting them.

4. Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or remove cookies and notify you when one is set. Please note that if you block the essential cookies described above, you will not be able to sign in or use kojo.

Browser help pages explain how to manage cookies for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected here, with the “Last updated” date revised accordingly.
